Latest 200W single output POWER supplY from TDK-Lambda

Following on the successful launch of the convection cooled single output LS series AC-DC power supply, TDK-Lambda has added a 200W forced air cooling model into this family. The LS200 has an input range of 85 to 264VAC (47-63Hz) or 120~373VDC, and can withstand a 300VAC surge for 5 seconds.

While this general purpose unit is well-suited to the budget conscious applications, they are up to 4% more efficient than similar products available on the market today. Over current with constant current limiting, over voltage, over temperature protection are standard features as well as remote ON/OFF signal and remote sensing built-in. What’s more, the extremely efficient design with low noise fan of the LS200 achieves excellent thermal properties and thereby offers higher reliability.  

Nominal output voltages range from 3.3 to 48VDC, delivering currents of up to 40A (for 3.3V & 5V). To accommodate non-standard system voltages the LS200 is user adjustable by up to 20% (for 12V, 24V & 48V). Series operation is also possible. Offered with an extended operating temperature range, the LS200 provides full power from -25 to +50°C and can still deliver up to 60% power at 70°C depending on the chosen model. Further more, the 24V and 36V output voltage model have additional 25% peak power capability.

As well as being EN55011/EN55022 and FCC compliant (achieving class B conducted and radiated emissions), TDK-Lambda’s LS200 is UL/IEC 60950-1 safety approved and carry the CE mark. All models meet EN61000-4-2, -3, -4, -5, -6, -8, -11 immunity standards and also harmonic correction standards. With a MTBF of over 200k hours, per MIL-HDBK-217F (25°C) standard, the LS Series comes with a three-year warranty.
